Community Psychiatry In California Acquires North Carolina-Based MindPath Care Centers

California-based Community Psychiatry acquired North Carolina-based MindPath Care Centers, in a first step toward national expansion. Financial terms were not disclosed. MindPath Care’s Chief Executive Officer, Jeff Williams, will become chief strategy officer of the new entity.

Community Psychiatry provides outpatient behavioral health services at over 40 locations throughout California. It is owned by the private equity firms Centerbridge Partners and Leonard Green & Partners. Its service line includes psychiatry, psychotherapy, psychological testing, and transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy. Services are provided in-person and via telehealth.
