Electronic health record (EHR) provider Epic recently launched an open-source tool for health care organizations to test and monitor artificial intelligence (AI) models. Epic said the suite can be used with EHRs developed by Epic and other organizations.

Epic said the open-source framework is designed to help organizations to bring in AI standards and best practices alongside the AI validation capabilities. The AI validation software suite is available at no cost, and can be accessed on GitHub here.
