Everest Rehabilitation Hospitals To Construct 36-Bed Rehabilitation Hospital In Auburndale, Florida

Everest Rehabilitation Hospitals, LLC, announced plans to invest over $24 million to construct a 36-bed physical rehabilitation hospital in Auburndale, Florida. The hospital service region includes the Auburndale, Lakeland, Winter Haven, Wahneta, Lake Wales, Haines City, Bartow, Lake Alfred, Fort Meade, Highland City, and Polk City communities. The announcement came after the Florida legislature passed a bill to repeal certain Certificate of Need requirements.
