Free Public Platform ‘I/DD Navigator’ Connects Tens Of Thousands Of Illinois Residents With Trusted Disability Resources
In its first six months, ‘I/DD Navigator,’ a free public platform launched by Little City Foundation, connected more than 28,000 users and 75,000 viewers to Illinois-specific information and services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families.
Information about I/DD services is often spread across multiple agencies, organizations, and websites, according to the announcement. This lack of centralized information can make it difficult for families and self-advocates to know where to start. I/DD Navigator was created to provide a single platform where people can find services and resources.
