Intermountain Healthcare, a large health system serving Utah, Nevada, and Idaho, partnered with PMMC to provide a digital tool to allow consumers to price shop for services through My Health+ app, Intermountain’s consumer portal and digital app. This strategic partnership is designed to create a better experience for consumers by educating and engaging with them about health care costs prior to services.
My Health+ brings tools from across the health care experience into one place to allow consumers to book appointments and pay bills. Using the PMMC tool through My Health+, Intermountain consumers will be able to get cost estimates for a range of Intermountain services.
Intermountain Healthcare is a not-for-profit system of 24 hospitals, 215 clinics, a Medical Group with 2,500 employed physicians and advanced practice clinical professionals. It also operates a health insurance company called SelectHealth, and provides other health services in Idaho, Utah, and Nevada.
PMMC is a revenue cycle management company. It has more than 450 clients nationwide, all of which are health care provider organizations and physician groups.
