Lightning Step Launches AI-Powered Progress Notes 

Lightning Step, which offers an electronic medical record solution, launched an artificial-intelligence (AI)-powered progress note tool called LIA. With LIA, clinical professionals can review, edit, and finalize notes before the note is added to a record. They can also use LIA to review documentation and medical history to contextually generate summaries covering objectives, medication adjustments, risks, and follow-up recommendations. 

The company was founded in 2016. It offers an all-in-one customer relationship management, electronic medical records and revenue cycle management solution, designed for behavioral health and addiction treatment centers.
