The Maryland Department of Health directed all nursing homes in the state to offer monoclonal antibodies to all residents if the facility has an outbreak of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). In this event, the nursing home will offer an approved or emergency authorized therapeutic treatment, such as monoclonal antibodies, as treatment to all residents who have tested positive for COVID-19 and as prophylaxis to those who have been exposed.
