MedPiper Acquires MedWriter, An AI Writing Assistant For Physicians, From Lonere Labs

MedPiper Technologies acquired MedWriter from Lonere Labs; MedWriter is an artificial intelligence (AI) writing assistant for physicians. Financial terms were not disclosed. MedPiper plans to use MedWriter to help physicians and health care professionals become creators for its online health care magazine, JournoMed.

Both companies are based in Bangalore, India. MedPiper is backed by the government’s Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeITy), an executive agency of the Union Government of the Republic of India.
