Monarch Teaching Technologies was recently acquired by Rethink Autism, Inc. Monarch Teaching Technologies provides VizZle, a software-as-a-service (SaaS)-based, special education software platform for teachers, school administrators, speech-language pathologists, and parents. The software is used to create interactive, visual learning support for special education and autism instruction for children diagnosed with autism. Financial terms were not disclosed. Monarch Teaching Technologies was created in 2005 as a for-profit venture by non-profit Bellefaire JBC and its non-profit parent organization the Wingspan Care Group (Wingspan).
