Netsmart To Acquire Change Healthcare To Strengthen Its CareFabric Solutions

Netsmart recently announced it will be acquiring Change Healthcare’s home health and hospice businesses. It is anticipated that the purchase will officially close during the second quarter of 2018.

The acquisition will help to bolster Netsmart’s position in post-acute technology and services, as well as integrate Change Healthcare’s Homecare Advisor and Hospice Advisor solutions with Carefabric solutions. According to statements from Netsmart leadership, the integration will allow consumers to use its health information exchange, analytics, referral managements, and mobility solutions.
