Nevada Launches Platform To Track Availability Of Behavioral Health Services & Streamline Referrals

The Nevada Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) launched Nevada Health Connection, a platform to track availability of inpatient and outpatient behavioral health services and streamline referrals. At launch, 50 behavioral health programs were participating. Nevada Health Connection provides real-time information on bed availability, digital referrals, two-way communication with provider organizations, and data aggregation and analytics. Provider organizations will be able to access information on facilities with availability and connect patients with an appropriate level of care more quickly.
