New Madison County Transit Granite City Shuttle Route Stops Directly In Front Of Chestnut Health Systems Northgate Industrial Drive

On August 17, 2020, the Madison County Transit (MCT) added a new stop for its Granite City Shuttle directly in front of behavioral health treatment provider organization, Chestnut Heath Systems at Northgate Industrial Drive. Previously, the shuttle stop was a half-mile away along a busy industrial route with no sidewalk. The new stop was due to efforts by State Senator Rachelle Crowe who had championed the shuttle service and was instrumental in working with MCT.
