President Biden Signs Executive Order To Open Special Three-Month Enrollment Period For Healthcare.gov Starting February 15, 2021

On January 28, 2021, President Biden signed an executive order to open a three-month special enrollment period  (SEP) for insurance plans sold through the federal Health Insurance Marketplace, healthcare.gov. Starting February 15,  2021, and through May 15, 2021,  the SEP will be available to consumers in the 36 states served by Marketplaces that use the federal platform.
