Salem Medical Center To Open 26-Bed Inpatient Adult Psychiatric Unit In New Jersey

The New Jersey Department of Health approved plans submitted by Salem Medical Center (SMC) to open a 26-bed adult psychiatric inpatient unit. With that approval, the medical center began accepting consumers for admission to the unit.

The 21,000-square-foot, 26-bed voluntary adult unit provides treatment services for individuals with mental health conditions.
