ScerIS, an information technology company, is granting software licenses to social service provider organizations to help them facilitate remote workers. The company launched its ETCETERA® Economic Recovery Software Grant Program in March 2020, when the ScerIS board of directors approved granting up to $200 million in software licenses through March 31, 2021. The program launched on April 21, 2020. In the fall of 2020, the company extended the grant program through October 31, 2021, and raised the total funding available to $400 million. Licenses secured by organizations under this program are gifted in perpetuity.
The company is providing in-kind grants for its flagship ETCETERA® Enterprise Platform. The value of the grant is based on the recipient organization’s total head count. The grants can be made to an organization, agency, or tribe. The actual value (list price) of software granted is based on the product modules and user count selected for deployment. The selection of concurrent users or active named users is made by each grantee. Going forward the grantee will be responsible for paying the monthly maintenance subscription, which is 2% of list price. However, if the maintenance fee is paid annually in advance, the price is reduced by 16.7% to 20%.
