Shands Lake Shore Medical Center To End Operations

Leaders of Shands Lake Shore Medical Center announced the plan to end all clinical services at the hospital and employed physician clinics effective August 31, 2020. The hospital and associated clinics will no longer offer medical services, including inpatient, emergency room, outpatient or physician clinic, after this date.

Interim Chief Executive Officer Jack Montois praised the physicians and employees for their commitment to consumers.
