St. Croix Hospice has opened a new location in Sioux City, Iowa. This is the company’s third new location to open during 2021. St. Croix opened seven new locations during 2020 and has been active in the mergers and acquisitions market.

St. Croix Hospice is a portfolio company of the private equity firm H.I.G. Capital. In April 2021, St. Croix Hospice acquired Hospice Care of America, and with that acquisition entered Illinois. Financial terms were not disclosed. In March 2020, St. Croix acquired Serenity Care Hospice in Missouri for an undisclosed amount.
