The MENTOR Network (MENTOR), which provides community-based health care and support services, announced completed its acquisition of South Bay Community Services (South Bay). With this acquisition, MENTOR expands its position as a leading provider of early childhood services and mental health and substance abuse services in Massachusetts, and expands its continuum of service offerings to include services in Connecticut. As part of the acquisition, Sara Hart, MS, LMHC, president and chief operating officer of South Bay Community Services will join the MENTOR team as Vice President of Operations.
Founded in 1986 and headquartered in Brockton, Massachusetts, South Bay is a community-based, behavioral health care provider organization offering a continuum of services customized to meet each person’s unique needs. South Bay specializes in adult behavioral health, substance abuse counseling, children’s behavioral health, autism services, and early childhood services. South Bay serves more than 13,000 individuals and families in 23 locations across Massachusetts and Connecticut.
The MENTOR Network provides home- and community-based health care for adult and children with physical, intellectual, or behavioral challenges. It serves more than 35,000 individuals across 37 states.
