Trump Administration Will Reimburse Provider Organizations For Treating Uninsured Individuals With COVID-19
On April 3, 2020, the Trump Administration announced it would pay hospitals to cover the cost of COVID-19 treatment for the uninsured population. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar announced the plans, stating the administration would reimburse provider organizations using funds from the $2 trillion stimulus bill that passed during the previous week.
