UnityPoint Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa, opened a new walk-in mental health clinic on October 4, 2021. The clinic functions as an urgent care clinic for adults age 18 and older with mental health needs or in crisis, but who do not need immediate medical attention and are not a danger to themselves or others. The clinic is open from 9 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday.
