Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association Launches Public Inpatient Behavioral Health Data Dashboard To Track Psychiatric Bed Occupancy

Virginia Hospital & Healthcare Association (VHHA) launched a new public-facing Behavioral Health Inpatient Data Dashboard to provide insight and transparency regarding the volume of public and private inpatient psychiatric hospital care being provided in the Commonwealth. The dashboard leverages data from the Virginia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Services (DBHDS). It also includes VHHA inpatient data to show inpatient psychiatric admissions at both state-run and private sector hospitals on an annualized basis from state fiscal year (SFY) 2015 through the most currently available data for SFY 2022.
