Are Integrated Models A “Horse Of A Different Color”?
I've been reading a lot of great comments from our readers in response to the article about management challenges in the new integrated settings by my colleague Susan Markley, Clinicians As Managers, In An Integrated Setting all members. One comment that struck me was from Bill Milnor, Director of Business Processes at the Mental Health Center of Denver, who suggested that moving to integrated care models wasn't just a matter of minor changes in model – it required a "deep change of perspective."
