Last month, authors Clayton Christensen, Jeffrey Flier, and Vineeta Vijayaraghavan predicted the death of Accountable Care Organizations (ACOS) in their The Wall Street Journal article Christensen, Flier and Vijayaraghavan: The Coming Failure of 'Accountable Care'. I usually don't give these kinds of articles a second look (I keep thinking Rumors Of The Death Of Managed Care).

But, I am familiar with the work of both Christensen (see Market Repositioning For Specialty Organizations all members) and Vijayaraghavan (see Disruptive Innovation In Integrated Care Delivery Systems: The Market Trends We Were Surprised Not To See)—and find them both thought provoking . . .
