Meditation Anyone?
May 13, 2011 I was watching a "medical drama" on television last week that featured a physician who was "into" alternative medicine—yoga and nutritional supplements and guided imagery and such. I chalked this up to the imaginations of creative writers in Hollywood. But, then I read an article (Meditation Prescribed More Often as Alternative to Conventional Medicine, Study Finds) on the recently-released report from Harvard Medical School, which found that six million Americans are advised each year by traditional health care professionals to seek meditation and other mind-body therapies for help with both the physical and mental . . .
