Service To Veterans Will Drive Health Innovation
November 11, 2011 In 2010, there were about 22.7 million veterans of the U.S. military, according to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) estimates (see Veteran Population Projections: FY2000 to FY2036 all members). On Veterans Day, I thought it would be appropriate to look at the likely effect of this population on the U.S. health and human service system – and the recent developments toward serving this population.
