A Challenge For Management Teams: Moving From Shutdown To Reopening
We are soon coming up on two months since the first statewide shutdown due to the pandemic—though it does seem like a very long time ago. And many states are starting to allow selected business operations to ‘reopen’—including health care services. As of May 8, 28 states have announced at least a partial reopening—with four states (Ohio, Rhode Island, Nevada, and New Hampshire potentially ‘reopening soon’)—and 20 states (including the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico) continue to have shutdowns in place.
