The 45X Telehealth Situation
Prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, less than 1% of all behavioral health visits were performed via telehealth. However, in Q2 2022, that number rose to 32.8%. And, in the same quarter, 63.8% of all telehealth visits were for behavioral health. The long and the short of it—telehealth-delivered behavioral health services jumped 45-fold since the start of the pandemic, according to a new analysis by Trilliant Health (see Trends Shaping the Health Economy: Behavioral Health).
