The LTSS Spending Shift
There are 6.6 million people using Medicaid long-term services and supports (LTSS)—a little over 8% of the Medicaid population. This compares to 5.9% (four million people) of the Medicaid population in 2013 (see Who Enrolls In Medicaid & CHIP and An Overview Of Long-Term Services And Support And Medicaid: Final Report).
