Psychedelics may finally be getting the attention they deserve from the medical community. One piece of evidence is that they now have their own association, the American Psychedelic Practitioners Association, which focuses on policy and standards of care. Common psychedelics includes substances like psilocybin, ketamine, LSD, ibogaine, DMT, ayahuasca, MDMA (ecstasy) and marijuana (see Psychedelic Drugs: Types, Uses, And Effects).
