January 9, 2006 Matria to Acquire CorSolutions Medical for $445 Million On December 15, 2005, Matria Healthcare, Inc., announced plans to buy CorSolutions Medical for $445 million cash. Matria provides health-enhancement services to health plans and employers. CorSolutions provides wellness and disease management services to over 120 government and employers and health plans. The acquisition of CorSolutions Medical's disease management services will enable Matria to reposition itself as a wellness and disease management service provider. Pending regulatory approval, a year end 2005 or early 2006 closing is expected.  The acquisition is expected to leverage the Information Technology platforms . . .
