Employers Offered 9.8 Million CDHPs or Health Savings Accounts in 2008

OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Strategic Health Care News Consumer-driven health plans (CDHP) and health savings accounts were available to 9.8 million U.S. adults in 2008 and of those that have an account, about 64% have had the account for more than one year. In 2008, 41% of individuals with a CDHP had the account for one to two years, up from 30% in 2007.
