Mental Health Systems Wins $15.6 Million Behavioral Health CalWORKS Contract With San Diego County
On January 1, 2013 Mental Health Systems, Inc. started a $15.6 million contract with the San Diego County Health and Human Services Agency to provide California Work Opportunity and Responsibility to Kids (CalWORKS) behavioral health center services. The contract runs through June 30, 2017 and total annual funding is estimated at $3.5 million. Mental Health Systems will provide mental health services for CalWORKS Welfare-to-Work participants to improve their mental health outcomes and increase their employment readiness.
The county sought a single contractor to provide mental health screening at Welfare to Work orientation sites . . .
