January 15, 2007 CIGNA Acquires vielife, On-Line Health Management & Coaching CIGNAs operating unit CareAllies acquired vielife, a United Kingdom-based on-line health management and coaching firm. vielife will operate as an independent, stand-alone brand to expand CIGNAs consumer engagement and health advocacy capabilities worldwide. The organization provides health risk assessment, behavioral change programs and on-line coaching for about 1.3 million people in the United States, Europe, Canada, and Australia.
