Primary Care Docs Offer Stress Management Counseling To 3% Of Patients

Only three percent of primary care patients report receiving stress management counseling from their primary care professionals. Stress management counseling involves the physician providing information intended to help patients reduce the stress in their lives through various means, including yoga, exercise, or referral to other health professionals for additional assistance.
