Mark Games Leading Northwood Health Systems as New CEO

OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Industry Newsmakers On January 13, 2010, Northwood Health Systems elected Mark Games as its new president and chief executive officer (CEO). Mr. Games succeeds former president and CEO Peter Radakovich. Patrick Casey, Northwood Board Chairman, said the change in leadership was the result of a multi-year management succession plan. Among his new responsibilities, Mr. Games is guiding the organization in a dispute with the state and seeking to regain Northwood’s operating license which was not renewed in September 2009, although Northwood has continued operating since October under an agreement with the state.
