Cherry announced on December 30, 2002, five appointments to their Cabinet. Governor Granholm and Lt. Governor Cherry announced nominees to be the directors of Community Health, Family Independence Agency, Corrections, Military and Veterans Affairs, and History, Arts, and Libraries.
