February 12, 2007 Indiana to Close Fort Wayne State Developmental Center The State of Indiana is closing the Fort Wayne State Developmental Center (FWSDC) currently operated by Liberty of Indiana Corporation. This is the final step in a state-guided transition that began in May 2005 to provide services for people with severe disabilities and behavioral problems in less restrictive settings.
