February 12, 2007 Community Education Partners Awarded Six-Year Contract With Pittsburgh Public Schools On January 24, 2007, the Pittsburgh Board of Education (BoE) voted to approve a five-year contract with Tennessee-based Community Education Partners (CEP) to open an alternative school in fall of 2007. The contract value is estimated at $3.5 million per year and will end June 30, 2013. However, the agreement depends on the BoEÂ’s resolution of issues with the Pittsburgh Federation of Teachers.
