Telehealth Autism Treatment & Consultation Enables Better Communication Between Parents & Treatment Professionals

A review of autism treatment and consultation services provided via an on-line store-and-forward telehealth platform found that compared to traditional in-home or office-based services, the telehealth services enabled better communication between parents and therapists, and more effective supervision and training of therapists in the field.
