10 States Implemented Nearly All Health Reform Provisions & 5 States Implemented None
Ten states, as of January 2014, have implemented nearly all of the provisions of health reform in the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act of 2010 (PPACA), and five states have implemented none of the reforms. The PPACA reforms include insurance marketplaces, expanded eligibility for Medicaid, and insurance market reforms. More than half of states implemented at least one of the PPACA health insurance market reforms.
