ResCare Acquires Richmond, Virginia-Based Kids in Focus

OPEN MINDS On-Line News On February 4, 2008, ResCare Inc., acquired Kids in Focus, a residential diagnostic and therapeutic service provider for children with emotional disturbances or learning disabilities in Richmond, Virginia. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. A ResCare spokesperson said that Kids in Focus executive director Richard Kingswell and all current employees will remain with the company. Kids in Focus performs clinical, psychological, psychiatric, physical, and academic evaluations to create customized therapy for children aged 6 to 17.
