IDEAL LIFE & Sprint Launch Wireless Kiosk Network for Remote Health Data Uploads to EHRs
In 2011, remote monitoring device company IDEAL LIFE and Sprint launched a network of wireless community-based kiosks so users of IDEAL LIFE devices can transmit their personal health data from the device to their electronic health records (EHRs) or health care provider organization. IDEAL LIFE manufactures in-home health monitoring equipment for individuals with chronic conditions such as congestive heart failure, hypertension, diabetes, asthma, and obesity. Since the launch, about 100 kiosks have bee placed by purchasers such as health care companies and large employers offering wellness programs.
