March 7, 2005 National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors Releases Reports on Implementing Recovery-Based Care In November 2004, the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD) released a series of reports on transforming mental health systems to incorporate recovery-based care. The reports are to assist in providing information to help policymakers, administrators, and providers transform their systems to include recovery-based care. The seven reports detail case studies of successful systems and ideas at federal, state, and local levels.
