OPEN MINDS On-Line News On March 5, 2008, the US House of Representatives voted 268 to 148 to approve the Paul Wellstone Mental Health and Addiction Equity Act, House Resolution (HR) 1424. The bill would eliminate barriers to mental health treatment posed by different deductibles, lifetime coverage caps, and higher copayments.
