Aspen Education Group Program In Upstate New York Starts Telepsychiatry Partnership With Bartky HealthCare Center

On February 27, 2012, Adirondack Leadership Expeditions (ALE) in upstate New York, a member of CRC Health’s Aspen Education Group, announced it had entered a telepsychiatry partnership with Bartky HealthCare Center, located in Livingston, New Jersey, to provide evaluations, medication management, and staff consultations. The partnership provides ALE with an additional layer of clinical and psychiatric support for its program staff and students’ families. The services are provided via the web-based Skype videoconferencing platform augmented with encryption security to meet requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
