March 17, 2003 SAMHSA Announces $7 Million Grant Program to Increase Effectiveness of Adolescent Alcohol Drug Abuse Treatment The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) has made approximately $7 million in grants available for the adoption or expansion of motivational enhancement therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy programs for adolescents.
