Sam’s Club to Sell eClinicalWorks EMR System

OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Strategic Health Care News By mid-2009, Wal-Mart’s Sam’s Club stores will sell an electronic medical records (EMR) practice management (PM) package that includes Dell computer hardware and eClinicalWorks EMR/PM software. Physicians will be able to select either a Dell desktop or tablet computer. The eClinicalWorks software provides EMR, e-prescribing, and PM software through a “software as a service” (SaaS) model.
