April 4, 2005 Oregon DHS Issues Disciplinary Action Against Child Welfare Caseworkers On March 10, 2005, the Oregon Department of Human Services (DHS) issued disciplinary action against four child welfare caseworkers for mistakes and violations of state policies that did not protect two children in state custody from abuse and neglect.
