New Jersey Privatization Task Force Working to Convert Some State Operations to Private Sector

OPEN MINDS Weekly News Wire Strategic Health Care News On April 7, 2010, the New Jersey Governor’s Privatization Task Force met for the first time to start developing recommendations for a comprehensive approach to converting certain areas of state operations to privately-run operations. The task force recommendations are due May 31, 2010; they will include initiatives to save $50 million for implementation as of July 1, 2010. The Task Force is considering a number of state operations in the health and human service sector; however, specifics were not available by press time. Governor Christie created the Task Force . . .
