State Medical Boards Disciplined Six Percent More Physicians in 2009 Than in 2008

Medical boards in New Hampshire and South Dakota both increased disciplinary actions from seven in 2008 to 16 in 2009. The rate was also up in Nebraska, from 32 in 2008 to 69 in 2009.
